Initial Conversation

We are a family-owned design and build company creating architecturally considered, high-performance homes from Wellington to Levin.

Our team is small by choice, made up of experienced builders and craftspeople who share one standard: excellence. We do not subcontract our builds, so every detail, deadline, and decision stays in our hands.

For us, it has always been about people – guiding them through the process, protecting their budget, and crafting homes that truly reflect who they are.

Clients choose us for our transparency, precision, and care. We are builders who still love what we do, and it shows.

Two

Concept Design Process

This is where your ideas start to take shape. Working alongside our trusted architectural designer, we create tailored concept drawings designed around your lifestyle and budget.

You will also receive a measured estimate and a full specification schedule, so you know exactly what is included and what it will take to bring your ideas to life.

To begin this stage, an initial concept deposit is required. The amount is specific to your project’s scope and will be deducted from your total 10% contract deposit when we move forward. This clarity upfront helps avoid surprises later and keeps everyone aligned.

Three

Detailed Review and Adjustments

We will sit down together and go through your concept plans, specifications, and measured estimated pricing in detail. There is no jargon and no guesswork.

This is your opportunity to provide feedback, tweak details, and make changes until everything feels right. Once we have refined the concept, we move into working drawings and provide a fully itemised, detailed quote outlining every aspect of the project.

Before we begin this stage, a working drawings deposit is required. The amount is scope-specific and will also be deducted from your total 10% contract deposit

Four

Fixed-Price Contract

Once you are happy with the working drawings and pricing, we will prepare your Registered Master Builders contract. This locks in your project details, pricing, and timeline, giving you complete confidence before we start.

Any amounts you have already paid, including your concept and working drawings deposits, are deducted from your 10% contract deposit. From here, it starts to feel real and exciting.

Council Consents and Preparation

We manage all the necessary paperwork and lodge your council consents so you do not have to.

Taking care of the details early means we are ready to hit the ground running as soon as we get the green light to start your build.

Six

Interior and Kitchen Design

Here is where we add your personal touch. You will work closely with our trusted kitchen partner and interior designer to finalise your selections, from layouts and finishes to colours and fixtures.

Whether you are after a sleek, modern aesthetic or a warm, character-filled vibe, we make sure the design reflects you and the way you want to live.

Seven

Construction Process

This is where the magic happens. Our in-house building team gets to work, and you will have access to your own secure client portal where you can track progress, view photos, and see key milestones as they happen.

We also send you regular updates so you are always in the loop, and you are welcome to visit the site to see your home taking shape.

Eight

Walkthrough and Handover

Once your home is complete, we will walk through it together to make sure every detail meets your expectations.

We will lodge your Code of Compliance with the Council and prepare to hand over your keys, which is an incredible milestone we love celebrating alongside you.

Nine

Aftercare Commitment

Our relationship does not end when you move in.

At twelve weeks and again at one year, we will check in to make sure everything is performing as it should. If any adjustments are needed, we will sort them quickly.

And of course, we are always just a call away if you need us, even long after your build is complete.
